Outdoor Lighting Expressions was founded in 2002 by Clay and Lynn Johnston who started in the outdoor lighting business as customers after building a new home and hiring a company to design and install their outdoor lighting system. Six months later, they bought the company who installed their lighting system.

As a company, Outdoor Lighting Expressions has over 20+ years of experience in creating custom lighting designs, professionally installing lighting, and servicing high-quality outdoor lighting systems for over 1,200 discerning customers throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

We have diligently worked to develop a great reputation by designing incredible lighting systems, installing premium-quality products, and providing outstanding service. We are proud to have a history of NO Complaints as a Class A Licensed and Insured Contractor and as an A+ Accredited member of the Better Business Bureau.

Today, Outdoor Lighting Expressions is owned and operated by Drew and Brie Lucas who are both entrepreneurs experienced in numerous trades related to home construction and remodeling, landscaping, and marketing. When not working with clients to help them turn their vision for their home into reality, you’ll find them spending time with their four children traveling, remodeling their home, or enjoying the outdoors.
